Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and electrotherapy.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and integrate new techniques into treatment protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) as a Physiotherapist.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy, preferably in a hospital or private clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using physiotherapy equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
