Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to verify correctness and identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Maintain and update patient records with precision, including medication histories, allergies, and treatment plans.
- Provide expert advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage to promote safe and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and resolve medication-related issues.
- Manage inventory, order pharmaceutical supplies, and ensure proper storage conditions for medications.
- Conduct regular audits of pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Assist in training and supervising pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license and registration with the relevant Indonesian regulatory body (e.g., Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan or Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist, preferably in a clinical or community pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, drug interactions, and patient counseling techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and prescription dispensing.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
