Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities tailored to childrenâs needs.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
- Utilize play-based therapy and age-appropriate techniques to engage children and enhance their participation in rehabilitation.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric rehabilitation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of child development, neurological conditions, and orthopedic pediatric cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and their families.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a patient-centered approach.
- Certification in pediatric-specific techniques (e.g., NDT, Bobath, or Sensory Integration) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is beneficial but not required.
