Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patientâs needs, goals, and medical history.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs to ensure long-term recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Document detailed and accurate patient progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with clinical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuous professional development and training.
- Provide post-surgical rehabilitation for patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, or cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Promote health and wellness initiatives within the community through workshops, screenings, and outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active Physical Therapy license (local or international, with eligibility to practice in Indonesia).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (fresh graduates with strong internship backgrounds may be considered).
- Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to adapt treatment plans as patient needs evolve.
