Responsibility
- Provide accurate and professional counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring patients understand dosage, side effects, and interactions.
- Dispense medications in accordance with legal and company guidelines, verifying prescriptions for authenticity and appropriateness.
- Offer personalized health advice, including recommendations for vitamins, supplements, and wellness products tailored to individual customer needs.
- Maintain meticulous pharmacy records, including inventory management, expiration tracking, and controlled substance logs, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues, such as clarifying dosages or suggesting alternatives for unavailable medications.
- Educate customers on chronic disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health outcomes.
- Uphold the highest standards of pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and safety, adhering to Watsons’ operational protocols.
- Participate in community health initiatives, such as vaccination drives, health screenings, and public awareness campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Indonesia (STR and SIP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain complex medical information in simple terms.
- Proficient in pharmacy management software and digital prescription systems.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations, including narcotics and psychotropics handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of a retail environment.
