Responsibility
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify their correctness, dosage, and potential interactions.
- Provide personalized counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and proper storage.
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy plans for patients.
- Monitor and manage inventory of pharmaceuticals, ensuring adequate stock levels and compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on new medications, treatments, and best practices in pharmacy care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Oversee the preparation and compounding of specialized medications when required.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid and active pharmacist license in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proven experience as a pharmacist in a retail, hospital, or clinical setting (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple prescriptions and tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR).
