Responsibility

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to dosage instructions and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions in a clear and empathetic manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses) to optimize patient treatment plans and ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Manage and oversee daily pharmacy operations, including inventory control, stock ordering, and expiration date monitoring to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) reviews to identify and resolve potential drug-related problems, enhancing patient safety and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and the community on health topics such as chronic disease management, vaccination awareness, and preventive care.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian pharmaceutical laws, including proper documentation, record-keeping, and reporting of controlled substances.
  • Train and supervise pharmacy staff, including assistants and interns, to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
  • Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through continuous education and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) from an accredited institution, with a valid Apoteker license (SIPA/SIK) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in a retail, hospital, or clinical setting (fresh graduates with strong internship experience will be considered).
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations, drug classifications, and controlled substance protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing, record-keeping, and inventory management.
  • Proficient in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, POS systems).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising or mentoring junior staff or interns.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our 24/7 pharmacy operations in high-traffic locations.
