Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste through proper rotation and storage.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review and optimize medication regimens for patients, promoting rational drug use.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication histories and allergy information, in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of sterile compounds, such as intravenous mixtures, following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on proper medication use, storage, and disposal to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Participate in continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Indonesia (STR and SIP).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia to effectively counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
