As the first point of contact for our diverse clienteleâfrom digital nomads to local communitiesâyou will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision conditions, and recommend tailored solutions, including prescription glasses, contact lenses, and advanced eye care products. Your mission is to ensure every visitor leaves with not just clearer vision, but an unforgettable experience that exceeds their expectations.

Whether youâre fitting a child with their first pair of glasses or advising a professional on blue-light protection, your expertise will make a tangible difference in peopleâs lives.
Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, and retinal health assessments using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Diagnose and manage common vision conditions (e.g., myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia) and refer patients to ophthalmologists for advanced care when necessary.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses, as well as specialty contact lenses.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and the latest advancements in vision correction, including blue-light filtering and UV protection.
- Provide personalized recommendations for frames, lenses, and coatings based on lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with local and international optometry standards.
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure seamless transitions from examination to product selection and purchase.
- Act as a brand ambassador by fostering trust, addressing concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Doctorate degree in Optometry from an accredited institution; licensed to practice in Indonesia (or eligible for local registration).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a retail or private practice setting, with a proven track record in patient care.
- Proficiency in using autorefractors, phoropters, tonometers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Fluency in English (additional proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus).
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
- Knowledge of current trends in eyewear fashion, lens technology, and digital eye strain solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
