Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations, including refraction, visual acuity tests, and intraocular pressure measurements.
- Diagnose and manage common visual conditions (e.g., myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia) and refer patients for advanced care when necessary.
- Provide personalized recommendations for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and low-vision aids tailored to patients’ lifestyle and needs.
- Fit and adjust prescription eyewear, ensuring optimal comfort, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper lens/eyewear maintenance.
- Drive retail sales by consulting with customers, demonstrating product features, and closing transactions for premium frames and lenses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory logs in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the team to promote in-store promotions, seasonal collections, and loyalty programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent certification; licensed to practice in Indonesia (or eligible for local registration).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in optometry, with a strong foundation in refraction and contact lens fitting.
- Proven retail sales experience in optical or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse patients.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, e.g., Indonesian or Mandarin, are advantageous).
- Proficiency in using optometric equipment (e.g., autorefractors, phoropters, tonometers) and retail POS systems.
- Customer-centric mindset with a results-driven approach to meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons, in a fast-paced environment.
