Responsibility
- Deliver high-quality massage therapies tailored to client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, Balinese, aromatherapy, and hot stone techniques.
- Assess client conditions and recommend personalized treatment plans to promote pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and inviting treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment self-care, stretching exercises, and wellness practices to enhance long-term benefits.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless client experiences and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and certifications to continuously improve service quality.
- Manage client records, treatment notes, and feedback to track progress and refine approaches.
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution (e.g., ITEC, CIDESCO, or local equivalents).
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a spa, wellness center, or luxury resort setting.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, Balinese, Thai, or sports massage).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for safe and effective treatments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols, hygiene standards, and product knowledge (e.g., essential oils, lotions).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
