Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment aboard tanker vessels.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical components and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations.
- Provide emergency electrical support as needed during voyages.
- Assist in the training of junior crew members on electrical safety and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid license as an Electrician with maritime experience preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a maritime or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with maritime safety standards and regulations.
