Responsibility
- Provide legal assistance and representation in police investigations, court proceedings, and other legal matters affecting the company.
- Offer expert legal advice to management and operational teams on compliance, contracts, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including agreements, MOUs, and internal policies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific regulations related to palm oil plantations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and risk management strategies.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and law enforcement to resolve disputes and legal issues.
- Develop and implement legal training programs for employees to enhance awareness of legal obligations and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of legal cases, correspondence, and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S1 Hukum) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Advocate License) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, litigation, or legal advisory, preferably in the agricultural, plantation, or natural resources sector.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian legal systems, labor laws, and business regulations.
- Proven experience in handling police investigations, court cases, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases, and meet tight deadlines.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel to Kalimantan Barat as required for fieldwork and legal proceedings.
