Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive legal reviews of leasing agreements, loan documents, and other financial contracts to ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and company policies.
- Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders, including the CBU team, on transactional risks, regulatory requirements, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Develop and implement legal risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s assets and minimize exposure to litigation.
- Monitor and interpret changes in financial regulations, corporate laws, and industry standards, ensuring timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies to address complex legal issues and facilitate smooth business operations.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize legal documents, including contracts, memoranda, and corporate resolutions, with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct due diligence investigations for potential business partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions, identifying legal risks and recommending actionable solutions.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal records, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of critical documents for audits or legal proceedings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree in Business Law or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role within the financial services, leasing, or banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, financial regulations (e.g., OJK guidelines), and contract law.
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable recommendations to non-legal stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal management software is an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to upholding corporate governance and compliance principles.
