Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to support Pefindo’s credit rating, financial analysis, and business operations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations (OJK, BI, etc.) and international standards for credit agencies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnerships, and service agreements with clients and vendors.
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Lead due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, or strategic alliances, identifying legal risks and opportunities.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, or regulatory inquiries, safeguarding its reputation and interests.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Compliance, HR) to align legal policies with business objectives.
- Monitor legislative changes and industry trends, proactively advising leadership on potential impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable university; Master’s degree (LLM) or Peradilan Agama certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within financial services, credit rating, or consulting.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian financial law, capital markets, and credit bureau regulations (OJK, BI, PP 44/2019).
- Proven track record in contract negotiation, corporate compliance, and litigation management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal); proficiency in legal documentation.
- Member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) in good standing.
- High ethical standards, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
