Responsibility
- Draft, review, and update privacy policies, terms of service, and compliance documents to ensure alignment with Indonesian and international regulations.
- Conduct legal research on data protection laws (e.g., PDPA, GDPR) and provide actionable insights to the legal team.
- Assist in the implementation of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Monitor and track regulatory changes in fintech and data privacy, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Support the processing of data subject requests (e.g., access, deletion, or correction) in accordance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to train staff on data privacy best practices and compliance protocols.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory submissions.
- Assist in contract review and due diligence for partnerships and vendor agreements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Law (preferably with a focus on corporate, technology, or international law).
- Basic understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., PDPA, GDPR) and fintech regulations.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze complex regulations.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is a must.
- Familiarity with DPIA, ROPA, or compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
