Responsibility
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies to ensure legal accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders on corporate governance, commercial transactions, and regulatory matters.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in Indonesian and international laws that may impact the company’s operations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and discussions with external parties, including clients, vendors, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and implement best practices for risk management.
- Assist in corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives by providing legal insights and due diligence support.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on legal policies, compliance requirements, and ethical business practices.
- Maintain and organize legal documentation, records, and databases to ensure easy retrieval and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S1 Hukum) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree or additional certifications in corporate law is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within a multinational company or a reputable law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate and commercial law, including contract law, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documents and agreements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (both written and verbal) is required.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with the automotive, manufacturing, or related industries is advantageous.
