Responsibility
- Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to support attorney strategies.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital case files, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval.
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by compiling evidence and exhibits.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties to gather information and facilitate case progression.
- Monitor deadlines for filings, responses, and compliance requirements to avoid delays.
- Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other legal proceedings for attorney review.
- Support the legal team with administrative tasks, including scheduling and document management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a legal support role (paralegal, legal assistant, or similar).
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Indonesian legal systems and corporate law is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
