Responsibility
- Develop and implement compliance strategies aligned with local and national regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, industry associations, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on company operations.
- Lead internal audits to ensure adherence to legal and corporate policies.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into business processes.
- Represent the company in public forums, advocacy initiatives, and policy discussions.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, compliance, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian legal frameworks, particularly in agriculture or natural resources.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in conducting compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
