Responsibility
- Draft, review, and finalize property sale/purchase agreements, leases, and mortgages with precision and legal compliance.
- Conduct title searches, due diligence, and land registry verifications to ensure clear property ownership.
- Advise clients on legal risks, zoning laws, and tax implications related to property transactions.
- Liaise with real estate agents, banks, and government authorities to facilitate seamless conveyancing processes.
- Represent clients in negotiations, settlements, and dispute resolutions for property-related matters.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts, land offices, and other regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on Indonesian property laws, regulations, and market trends affecting conveyancing.
- Provide client education on conveyancing procedures, timelines, and costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; Indonesian Advocate License (PERADI) is a must.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in conveyancing, property law, or real estate transactions.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian land law, Hak Milik, Hak Pakai, and notarial processes.
- Proven ability to interpret legal documents, contracts, and property titles accurately.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s property market and local regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
