Responsibility
- Draft, review, and finalize a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on matters related to business operations, employment law, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international legal standards, including corporate governance and data protection regulations.
- Assist in managing legal risks by identifying potential issues, conducting due diligence, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Support the resolution of legal disputes, including liaising with external counsel, preparing case materials, and tracking progress.
- Maintain and organize legal records, documentation, and databases to ensure easy retrieval and confidentiality.
- Conduct legal research on emerging regulations, industry trends, and case law to inform business decisions.
- Coordinate with government agencies, notaries, and other legal entities to facilitate licensing, permits, and corporate filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a license to practice law in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably in corporate law, contract management, or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian commercial law, labor law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional drafting and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with legal management software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, non-technical terms.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
