Responsibility
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Indonesian and international laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to manufacturing and corporate operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company’s interests.
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory support on labor law, intellectual property, data privacy, and corporate governance.
- Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and training programs to promote ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and auditors to address compliance inquiries and resolve legal disputes.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies, including due diligence for partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documentation, licenses, and permits, ensuring timely renewals and filings.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employment-related legal matters, including disputes, terminations, and workplace policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Advocate License) is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate legal and compliance roles, preferably in manufacturing, technology, or multinational companies.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, labor law, and commercial regulations, with familiarity in international trade compliance.
- Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory for business operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal); proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
