Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive leasing strategies to attract a diverse mix of tenants for Timor Plaza's commercial and retail spaces.
- Proactively identify and pursue new local, regional, and international tenants through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Manage the entire leasing process from initial inquiry to negotiation, contract finalization, and tenant onboarding.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, market analyses, and financial projections to prospective tenants and internal stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants, brokers, and industry professionals to ensure high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market research to monitor competitive landscapes, rental rates, and emerging trends to inform leasing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with property management, marketing, and legal teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance with all leasing agreements.
- Prepare periodic leasing reports, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights into performance and market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate leasing or property management, preferably within retail or mixed-use developments.
- Demonstrated success in tenant acquisition, lease negotiation, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
- Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements, market dynamics, and financial analysis within the real estate sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- High level of adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with experience in or a strong interest in working in emerging markets.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Tetum or Portuguese is a significant advantage.
