Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for complex software projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Lead and mentor QA teams, fostering a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
- Design, optimize, and maintain test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate quality processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to software quality, performance, and security.
- Define and track key quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, automation ROI) to measure and improve QA effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Drive innovation in testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance product reliability and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic role (e.g., Test Lead, QA Manager).
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing test strategies for complex, large-scale applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JMeter) and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile Testing, or similar are a plus.
