Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Talend ETL jobs, data pipelines, and integration workflows.
- Provide expert-level support for Talend Open Studio, Data Integration, and Big Data platforms, troubleshooting complex issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimize existing Talend jobs for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging best practices in data modeling.
- Mentor junior consultants and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on Talend best practices, data governance, and emerging trends.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across integration processes, implementing validation, error handling, and monitoring.
- Work closely with cloud architects to deploy Talend solutions in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and SOPs for maintainable and auditable integration processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend (Open Studio, Data Integration, or Big Data) in enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in ETL/ELT design, data warehousing, and real-time data processing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or Python for custom transformations and scripting within Talend.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP), message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and database systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for complex data integration issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to bridge technical and business teams.
- Certifications in Talend (e.g., Talend Data Integration Certified Developer) are highly advantageous.
