Responsibility
- Process Leadership: Lead the development, optimization, and qualification of advanced Diffusion and Implant processes for next-gen memory devices.
- Technical Innovation: Drive R&D initiatives to improve device performance, yield, and reliability through novel process techniques.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, integration, and manufacturing teams to align process development with product roadmaps.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues using data-driven root-cause analysis and experimental DOE (Design of Experiments).
- Scale & Transfer: Oversee the transfer of new processes from development to high-volume manufacturing (HVM) with zero defects.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Micron at conferences, patents, and technical publications to establish thought leadership.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all processes adhere to industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering with a focus on semiconductor processing.
- Experience: 10+ years in semiconductor process development, with at least 5 years specializing in Diffusion/Implant.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of ion implantation, annealing, doping, and defect engineering in advanced nodes (e.g., 10nm, 7nm, or below).
- Tools & Equipment: Hands-on experience with implanter tools (e.g., Applied Materials, Varian), metrology (SIMS, XPS, TEM), and process simulation software.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistical analysis (JMP, Python, R) and data interpretation for process optimization.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing technical projects end-to-end.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with a commitment to continuous learning.
