Responsibility
- Lead the identification, development, and globalization of advanced machining processes for gas turbine components.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to optimize tooling and machining strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Develop and implement standardized machining procedures and best practices across global facilities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new machining technologies and materials.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and machining teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Monitor and analyze machining performance metrics to identify areas for optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in machining, tooling, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the energy or aerospace sectors.
- Strong expertise in CNC machining, precision tooling, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement and globalization initiatives.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA) and machining simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
