Responsibility
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of end-user computing (EUC) solutions, including virtual desktops, application delivery, and device management.
- Oversee the migration, optimization, and security of EUC environments (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops, or Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Collaborate with IT security teams to implement best practices for endpoint security, compliance, and data protection.
- Develop and maintain EUC policies, standards, and documentation to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex EUC issues, providing L3 support and escalation for critical incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend new EUC technologies, tools, and automation solutions to enhance user experience and reduce operational costs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure high availability and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in EUC engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven expertise in VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops, or Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security.
- Experience with cloud-based EUC solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
