Responsibility
- Manage the procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement of IT hardware and software assets.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of IT asset inventories, including licensing and warranties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IT-related contracts (e.g., SaaS, hardware leases, service agreements) to ensure favorable terms.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve issues, evaluate performance, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO, ITIL), and legal requirements.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for IT investments and recommend optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Procurement) to align IT asset management with business goals.
- Generate reports on asset utilization, contract renewals, and vendor performance for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT asset management, contract administration, or vendor management.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware/software lifecycles and procurement processes.
- Experience with contract negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow Software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ICT industry trends and best practices is a plus.
