Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and migration of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions, replacing legacy LAN/VPN systems.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to integrate zero trust principles across the organization.
- Develop and enforce identity-based access policies, ensuring least-privilege access and continuous authentication.
- Evaluate and select ZTNA vendors and tools, ensuring alignment with business requirements and security standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities in existing access models.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders on zero trust best practices.
- Monitor and optimize ZTNA performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experience.
- Document architecture designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures for compliance and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in network security, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Zero Trust Architecture, ZTNA, or SASE frameworks (e.g., Zscaler, Cloudflare, Palo Alto Prisma Access).
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and encryption protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network environments.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific ZTNA certifications) are a plus.
