Responsibility
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Smart Building systems in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate new IoT devices and update existing systems.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Conduct regular security audits and apply patches to safeguard IoT ecosystems from vulnerabilities.
- Assist in training end-users and technical staff on system functionalities and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in system support, IT infrastructure, or IoT-related roles.
- Hands-on experience with IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or custom solutions) and industrial protocols (Modbus, BACnet, MQTT).
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute).
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with global teams.
- Certifications in IoT, ITIL, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
