Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade Cisco, Check Point, and Fortinet network solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and routing/switching infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including latency, packet loss, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Manage and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
- Lead network upgrade projects, including hardware refreshes, firmware updates, and migration to cloud-based solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and IT support staff.
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance scalability and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco, Check Point, and Fortinet technologies.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or Check Point CCSA/CCSE are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) and SIEM systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
