As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of electrical distribution systems for our state-of-the-art life sciences facilities. Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical distribution systems for life sciences facilities, ensuring compliance with IEC, NEC, and local regulations.
- Develop and optimize power generation, transmission, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, process, and controls engineers) to integrate electrical systems into broader project scopes.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and risk assessments for new and existing electrical infrastructure.
- Oversee vendor selection, procurement, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
- Implement smart grid and IoT-enabled solutions to monitor and improve energy consumption in real time.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols (e.g., arc flash studies, grounding systems) and lead HAZOP/LOPA reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams across multiple sites in Bali.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 10+ years of experience in industrial or life sciences electrical systems.
- Proven expertise in medium/high-voltage distribution, motor control, and PLC integration.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent) and familiarity with ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, or Revit.
- Experience with GMP, FDA, or ISO 13485 standards in regulated environments (preferred).
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.) with occasional travel to regional sites.
- Demonstrated leadership in sustainability initiatives (e.g., renewable energy integration, LEED certification).
