Are you a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for creating innovative, safe, and efficient residential electrical systems? We are seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bali, Indonesia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development of permit-ready electrical plans, drawings, and computations for high-end residential projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
As the technical lead, you will collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge electrical solutions that align with project goals. Your expertise will drive the success of our residential developments in Baliās most prestigious locations, including Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and Nusa Dua.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for residential projects, including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
- Prepare and review permit-ready electrical drawings, schematics, and calculations in compliance with Indonesian and international codes (e.g., PUIL, NEC).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into project plans.
- Conduct load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Oversee the selection and specification of electrical equipment, including panels, transformers, and wiring systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Coordinate with local authorities and utility providers to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Perform site visits and inspections to verify installation compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical design for residential or commercial projects.
- Proven expertise in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux for electrical design and modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (PUIL) and familiarity with international standards (NEC, IEC).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Experience working on luxury residential or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
