Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement PLC-based automation systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) for industrial applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan).
- Develop and optimize instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, including sensors, transmitters, and actuators, to enhance process accuracy and reliability.
- Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to ensure real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, process, and production engineers) to integrate automation solutions into end-to-end manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for electrical and automation systems to comply with industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, NFPA).
- Provide technical support and training to operations teams on system functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart manufacturing to drive continuous improvement in automation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text), HMI/SCADA development, and electrical design.
- Proficiency in PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider Unity Pro) and HMI/SCADA software (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk).
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA).
- Experience with electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan) and familiarity with NFPA 79, IEC 61131-3 standards.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation devices (pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors) and control valves.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced industrial environments with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
