Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable systems infrastructure for enterprise-level clients, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead the deployment and optimization of cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premises environments.
- Develop and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) to improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
- Document system architectures, processes, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure design, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) and security protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) and incident management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
