Responsibility
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain product excellence and compliance with automotive regulations.
- Lead and mentor production and QC teams, providing training and guidance to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain high-quality raw materials and components.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering or quality control within the automotive industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in using production and quality control tools, such as SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
