Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the Company’s IT operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of desktop and end-user computing environments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to align with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Spearhead cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, threat monitoring, and incident response to safeguard company data and systems.
- Manage and optimize digital initiatives, including cloud migrations, software deployments, and IT infrastructure upgrades to enhance productivity and user experience.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs, propose solutions, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international IT regulations, standards, and data protection laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or cybersecurity certifications) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, desktop engineering, or systems administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity best practices, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and incident response.
- Hands-on experience with IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS), enterprise software, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus. Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is highly desirable.
