Responsibility
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for offshore wind and substation projects, ensuring alignment with IEC, ISO, and local regulatory standards.
- Lead risk assessments and audits to identify gaps in compliance, proposing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and HSE teams to integrate compliance requirements into project design, construction, and operation phases.
- Prepare and submit permitting documentation for regulatory bodies, ensuring timely approvals for project milestones.
- Monitor industry trends and legislative changes, updating internal policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Train and mentor project teams on compliance protocols, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
- Represent the company in stakeholder meetings with government agencies, clients, and certification bodies.
- Oversee third-party compliance inspections and certifications for substation and offshore wind infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; PE (Professional Engineer) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in compliance engineering, with at least 3 years in offshore wind or substation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of international standards (IEC 61400, ISO 50001, OSHA) and Indonesian energy regulations.
- Proven track record of leading compliance audits and securing regulatory approvals for large-scale energy projects.
- Strong project management skills, with experience using PMBOK or Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with regulators, clients, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments (EIA) and sustainability reporting.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Indonesia and internationally as needed.
