Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure BIM models align with project specifications and standards.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between different disciplines to minimize on-site conflicts.
- Generate and update construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation from BIM models.
- Support quantity takeoffs and cost estimation by extracting data from BIM models.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and present model updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans (BEP) and company/industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software (e.g., ArchiCAD, Tekla).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail to ensure model accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost) BIM is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
