Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the Active Aging Centre, ensuring high standards of service and care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to the physical, social, and emotional well-being of seniors.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient centre operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess the quality of programs and services, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies, including health and safety standards.
- Promote the centre’s mission through marketing, outreach, and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within healthcare, senior care, or community services.
- Proven track record of managing teams, programs, and budgets in a similar setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by the aging population.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community leaders.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care.
