Responsibility
- Develop and deliver training programs for nursing staff in community and long-term care (LTC) settings, focusing on geriatric and elderly care best practices.
- Mentor and supervise junior nurses and healthcare assistants to ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for elderly patients in nursing homes and community facilities.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of clinical practices to maintain high-quality care standards and compliance with regulations.
- Provide hands-on clinical instruction in areas such as wound care, medication management, mobility assistance, and dementia care.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and continuing education sessions for healthcare professionals in gerontology and senior care.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare facilities, patients, and families to ensure clear communication and patient-centered care.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and innovations in geriatric care and integrate them into training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; advanced degree in Gerontology, Nursing Education, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in geriatric care, elderly care, or long-term care settings.
- Valid nursing license and registration in Indonesia or eligibility for registration (e.g., through KTKI or relevant authorities).
- Proven experience in clinical instruction, mentoring, or training healthcare staff in community or nursing home environments.
- Strong knowledge of gerontological nursing principles, dementia care, palliative care, and chronic disease management in the elderly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
