Responsibility
- Design and deploy advanced automation systems using PLC (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Lead robotic integration projects (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC) for industrial applications.
- Develop and optimize HMI/SCADA interfaces for real-time monitoring and control.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and enhance system performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (ISO, OSHA) in robotic workcells.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, with expertise in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3).
- Proven track record with Beckhoff TwinCAT and industrial robotics (e.g., ABB, KUKA).
- Strong knowledge of motion control, servo drives, and vision systems.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development (e.g., Ignition, WinCC).
- Familiarity with IoT and data analytics for predictive maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership in cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in robotics or automation (e.g., Certified Robotics System Architect) are a plus.
