Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on backend test equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Monitor and calibrate test systems to maintain accuracy and adherence to yield targets.
- Implement and enforce Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety protocols to protect sensitive components and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test processes, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, test results, and equipment performance metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in test technology and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, test processes, or a similar role in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
- Strong knowledge of ESD control measures and best practices for handling sensitive electronic components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
