Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with Industrial 4.0 standards.
- Oversee the integration of IoT devices, robotics, and AI-driven analytics to enhance production efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, operations) to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation infrastructure, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and MES software.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect automation systems from vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on automation best practices and emerging technologies.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders to communicate project progress and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing Industrial 4.0 or digital manufacturing projects.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, robotics integration, and MES software.
- Hands-on experience with IoT platforms, AI/ML applications in manufacturing, and data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial automation systems (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
