Responsibility
- Assist in the inspection and testing of metal components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Support the development and optimization of metal processing techniques, including heat treatment, machining, and surface finishing.
- Conduct laboratory tests (e.g., hardness testing, metallographic analysis) and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and process adjustments for quality assurance purposes.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce material waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in metal processing and inspection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Basic understanding of metal properties, manufacturing processes, and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment (e.g., microscopes, hardness testers) is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn specialized software for data analysis.
