Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design process for custom machinery, from conceptualization to final engineering drawings.
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and material selection to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine designs for producibility and assembly.
- Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements based on performance data.
- Ensure compliance with international engineering standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and local regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, specifications, and user manuals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in industrial machinery or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) and FEA tools.
- Strong knowledge of material science, manufacturing processes (CNC, welding, injection molding), and GD&T.
- Experience with project management and adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex engineering challenges.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for technical communication.
- Familiarity with Indonesian industrial standards is a plus.
