Responsibility
- Develop and review mechanical system designs for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical components, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with project managers to create timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for mechanical installations.
- Conduct site inspections and technical assessments to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure high-quality materials and equipment at competitive prices.
- Ensure all mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and construction teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, reports, and compliance certificates.
Qualifications
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on construction and estimation.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in Indonesia.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
