Responsibility
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, assisting with the integration, testing, and optimization of Quectel IoT modules and antennas.
- Collaborate with R&D and sales teams to gather customer requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical training, documentation, and application notes to enhance customer understanding of Quectel products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software compatibility issues, ensuring smooth deployment in diverse IoT use cases.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations and validate product performance in real-world scenarios.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT trends, cellular technologies (4G/5G, NB-IoT, LTE-M), and industry standards to provide expert guidance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending Quectel solutions that align with their business and technical needs.
- Participate in trade shows, webinars, and technical workshops to promote Quectel’s capabilities and engage with potential partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in field applications engineering, embedded systems, or IoT product support.
- Strong knowledge of cellular technologies (4G/5G, LTE, NB-IoT) and wireless communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and integrating IoT modules (preferably Quectel or similar vendors).
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or scripting languages for embedded development and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regionally or internationally (up to 30%) for customer engagements.
- Familiarity with RF testing, antenna design, or certification processes (e.g., FCC, CE) is a plus.
