Responsibility
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing stations.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.
- Inspect laundry for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in the delivery and collection of laundry items to and from designated areas.
- Follow eco-friendly practices to minimize water and energy consumption.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely and efficient laundry services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights.
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and their safe usage.
